Bass lessons
All levels – from 4 to 7 strings
In these online bass lessons, we’ll clarify concepts that have always seemed unclear to you, learn new techniques or quickly upgrade them, refine your musical ear and sense of rhythm, expand your chord vocabulary, tackle styles that appeal to you, discover working methods that will ensure audible progress, start or improve your improvisation, learn to adapt right-hand fingerings to the rhythmic figures to be played, and above all – icing on the cake – learn to do more with less fatigue!
Basic techniques: finger picking, hammer/pull-off/slide/bend, ghost notes, pick playing, slap, chords,
More advanced techniques: three-finger playing, three-finger slap, double-thumb and tapping.
And also walking bass, reading chord charts and scores (and a little tablature if an exercise is unnecessarily complicated to read for its intended purpose).
Lots of rhythm, as well as considerations of the interplay between bass and drums…
And last but not least, a constant challenge to the musical ear, in conjunction with theory and the instrument!
